About the Role

As Site Construction Manager 1, you'll oversee daily field operations on substation construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, and full regulatory compliance. This is a 100% field-based role where you'll be on-site managing crews, coordinating trades, and driving projects forward from mobilization through completion.

What You'll Do

• Direct and coordinate construction activities and personnel across substation construction sites
• Monitor project schedule and cost performance against approved budgets and timelines
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company safety policies on every shift
• Maintain quality control and inspect work to meet contract specifications and industry standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners to keep operations moving smoothly
• Document daily progress, conduct site meetings, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders
• Identify and resolve field challenges quickly to keep projects on track

What We're Looking For

• Proven construction management or field supervisory experience on utility or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of substation construction, electrical infrastructure, or related utility work
• OSHA safety certification or equivalent training
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse crews and contractors
• Proficiency with project management tools and ability to read construction documents and blueprints
• Valid driver's license and ability to work full-time on-site in all weather conditions
• Problem-solving mindset and commitment to safety, quality, and schedule performance
