What You'll Do

  • Assess credit risk for leveraged finance transactions, evaluating borrower strength, market conditions, and deal structures specific to sports and entertainment industries
  • Conduct thorough underwriting and due diligence, applying quantitative models and qualitative judgment to inform approval decisions
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identifying early warning signals and recommending proactive risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with business partners—bankers, traders, and operations teams—to balance growth with disciplined risk management
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that affect our exposures
  • Contribute to risk governance, ensuring policies, procedures, and controls align with regulatory expectations and firm standards

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in leveraged finance credit analysis, risk assessment, or related banking roles
  • Deep understanding of sports and entertainment business models, revenue streams, and sector-specific risks
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with facility in financial modeling and credit metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, challenge assumptions, and make sound judgments under uncertainty
  • Experience collaborating across functions and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, Basel frameworks, and risk governance principles
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field (advanced degree or CFA a plus)
