Certified Mobile Notary Service is hiring a full-time Travel Notary Agent to serve clients across Portland and Multnomah County, Oregon — bringing professional, on-site notarial services directly to signers wherever they are.

About the Role

As a Travel Notary Agent with Certified Mobile Notary Service, you will represent a company built on the promise of convenience and reliability. This is a field-based, client-facing position: you travel to homes, offices, hospitals, care facilities, and other locations throughout the Portland metro area to facilitate legally compliant document signings. If you are a commissioned Oregon notary who thrives working independently and takes pride in accurate, professional service, this role is a strong fit.

What You'll Do

• Administer oaths and affirmations in accordance with Oregon notarial law
• Conduct identity verification for document signers at each appointment
• Witness and authenticate signatures on legal, financial, and real estate documents
• Facilitate loan signings, mortgage closings, and title-related paperwork
• Maintain a thorough and accurate notarial journal for every transaction
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and travel logistics across Multnomah County and surrounding areas
• Communicate clearly with clients, signing services, and title companies before and after each appointment
• Ensure every signing is completed in full compliance with applicable state regulations

What We're Looking For

• Active Oregon Notary Public commission in good standing
• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for local travel
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy on every document
• Professional, courteous manner when working with clients in sensitive situations
• Ability to manage a schedule independently and meet appointment windows reliably
• Solid understanding of notarial procedures, including acknowledgments, jurats, and copy certifications
• Loan signing agent certification or prior experience with real estate closings is a plus
