About This Position
We are seeking to recruit an experienced and collaborative lawyer to join the Corporate & Technology Legal team, which provides legal support on technology, outsourcing, third-party risk management, cybersecurity, data privacy, artificial intelligence, and other technology-related matters across Mizuho Americas. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of agreements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents related to technology, outsourcing, third-party risk management, cybersecurity, data privacy, artificial intelligence, and other technology-related matters.
- Providing strategic advice on emerging technologies and their legal implications.
- Developing and maintaining policies and procedures for managing risks associated with technology and data.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced lawyer who can contribute effectively to our Corporate & Technology Legal team. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in technology law, including but not limited to technology contracts, outsourcing agreements, and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
