About This Position

The Senior Regional Director, Mid – Atlantic Region will lead NPCA's Mid-Atlantic Regional Office and be responsible for overseeing the region's advocacy efforts to protect and enhance America's national parks. The position is based in Washington, D.C., with no remote option.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance NPCA’s mission in the Mid-Atlantic Region
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including local officials, community leaders, and park partners
• Oversee a team of staff members and volunteers to ensure effective advocacy efforts
• Coordinate with national office teams to align regional strategies with broader organizational goals
• Conduct research and analysis to inform policy recommendations and legislative initiatives

What You Bring

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental advocacy or related field, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing projects with a focus on national park protection and enhancement
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
• Experience working with federal agencies and policymakers
• A deep understanding of the Mid-Atlantic Region's political, social, and environmental landscape
