Technical Product Manager – AI Neobank

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial products across Southeast Asia. Our client is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own a critical product vertical within their AI-powered financial services platform.

This role is based in Singapore and offers remote flexibility within compatible time zones.

Responsibilities

As Technical Product Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of a financial product vertical:

• Define and execute product strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery priorities for your vertical
• Shape technical architecture with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive complex trade-offs balancing correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory compliance, and user experience
• Embed regulatory requirements into product design including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing
• Apply AI and LLM capabilities strategically where they genuinely improve outcomes, with proper evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure partners, and third-party integrations
• Align cross-functional teams—Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance—around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architectural discussions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or other regulated, high-consequence product domains
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation methodologies, reliability engineering, and understanding when deterministic systems must remain in control
• Strong English communication skills for working in a global, distributed team

Nice to have:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer financial products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
