Technical Product Lead – AI Neobank

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building next-generation financial services across Southeast Asia. Our talent team is seeking a Technical Product Lead to own a critical product vertical within their AI-powered digital banking platform. This is a remote role based in the Philippines, working with a distributed international team.

This position sits at the intersection of product strategy, technical architecture, and regulatory compliance. You'll be working on products that move real money—payments, remittance, wealth management, and trading—where reliability and trust are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, success metrics, roadmap prioritization, and delivery execution
• Shape technical architecture alongside engineering teams, covering APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Embed regulatory compliance into product design, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy controls, and licensing requirements
• Apply AI thoughtfully where it genuinely improves outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Navigate product launches around external dependencies such as regulatory approvals, financial infrastructure partners, and third-party integrations
• Align cross-functional teams—engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance—around clear product decisions and launch readiness

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production deployment
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, review technical designs, and contribute meaningfully to architectural discussions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Excellent product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including understanding evaluation frameworks, reliability considerations, and recognizing when AI should not be used
• Strong English communication skills for working effectively across international, distributed teams

Preferred qualifications:

• Engineering background or highly technical product experience
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
