About the Role
The Tax Manager, Sustainability Credits role at Deloitte is part of our Global Investment and Innovation Incentives practice, which offers a wide range of government credits and incentives services across over 150 countries. As a key member of the national team of specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive tax C&I services, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients' sustainability initiatives through strategic tax planning and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing eligibility for various sustainability credits and incentives
- Developing and implementing tax strategies that align with client's sustainability goals
- Providing expert advice on local and international tax regulations related to sustainability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax laws, policies, and trends in the sustainability space
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager with a passion for sustainability. Ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax consulting or related fields, with at least 3 years specializing in sustainability credits and incentives
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations, particularly as they relate to environmental and energy-related credits and incentives
- Experience working on complex tax projects and managing teams effectively
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality client services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
