This full-time position is based in the United States and offers the opportunity to lead strategic advisory engagements with clients seeking to maximize their eligibility under state tax credit and incentive programs.

About the Role

As a Senior Manager in our Tax Credits & Incentives Advisory practice, you will take on a client-facing advisory role serving mid-market and enterprise clients navigating complex state-level tax credit and incentive opportunities. You will combine technical expertise in state C&I programs with business strategy, working closely with clients to identify, quantify, and execute tax credit and incentive strategies that deliver measurable financial impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead comprehensive tax credit and incentive engagements, from initial eligibility assessment through implementation and ongoing compliance
• Develop customized strategies for state credit optimization, including research and incentives, manufacturing credits, workforce development programs, and other state-specific opportunities
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client operations to identify overlooked state tax credit eligibility and incentive opportunities
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client relationships across multiple concurrent engagements
• Supervise and mentor junior advisory staff and analysts on the team
• Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes affecting state incentive programs and communicate updates to clients
• Present findings and recommendations to client leadership teams with clarity and strategic insight

What We're Looking For

• Senior-level experience in tax credits and incentives advisory or related tax practice areas
• Deep expertise in state credits and incentives (State C&I) programs and compliance requirements
• CPA license or equivalent professional credential in accounting or tax
• Proven ability to lead complex client advisory engagements and manage project teams
• Strong research and analytical capabilities for evaluating credit eligibility and tax incentive opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client presentations and reporting
• Track record of business development and client relationship management
