Entergy is hiring a Supervisor, Production to lead operations and maintenance teams at our combined cycle gas turbine power generating station in Malvern, Arkansas. This full-time, on-site role places you at the center of plant leadership, directing team performance, safety, and regulatory compliance in a multi-skilled industrial environment.

About the Role

In this supervisory position, you'll provide hands-on leadership to a diverse team of skilled technicians and maintenance personnel. You'll oversee the full spectrum of daily plant operations—from pre-shift planning and resource management to real-time performance monitoring and equipment stewardship. The role demands strong technical knowledge of power generation systems, excellent judgment under pressure, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and management to keep our facility running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Direct and mentor a cross-functional team of operations and maintenance personnel across multiple craft disciplines
• Oversee daily plant operations and ensure adherence to operational procedures, safety protocols, and environmental compliance standards
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and system diagnostics
• Analyze plant performance data, identify equipment issues, and recommend operational improvements
• Manage work scheduling, personnel assignments, and staffing to support continuous plant operations
• Champion safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and build a strong safety culture within your team
• Communicate operational status, challenges, and recommendations to plant management and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of supervisory or operational leadership experience in power generation, industrial plants, or similar utility environments
• Hands-on knowledge of combined cycle gas turbine technology or comparable power generation systems
• Proven experience supervising and developing multi-skilled, cross-functional teams
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management preferred
