About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at RSL LifeCare in North Lismore. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Promote independence and encourage participation in community activities
- Support clients in maintaining a safe living environment
- Facilitate social interactions and companionship for clients
- Ensure adherence to RSL LifeCare policies, procedures, and best practices
Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to clients with varying needs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Prioritization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
