SUPPORT WORKER — Wellways Australia Limited, Cremorne, Mackay

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate and resilient Disability Support Workers to join our close-knit team at Wellways Australia Limited in Cremorne, Mackay. This is a part-time, casual role offering an hourly rate of $46.70 (SCHADS 2B). As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting participants with intense and high needs.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to individuals with complex needs in their homes or community settings
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility assistance
• Support participants in developing life skills and independence
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care

• Experience in disability support or related field is highly desirable
• Calm under pressure and able to handle challenging situations effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
