The Opportunity

Altruistic Care Services is seeking caring, flexible, and dedicated individuals to join our growing teams in Adelaide. As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist participants to live as independently as possible while supporting them in various daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid participants with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Support individuals in accessing community resources and services
• Foster an environment that encourages independence and social inclusion
• Assist with meal preparation, household chores, and other daily tasks
• Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times
• Document participant progress and communicate effectively with team members and families

Requirements

• Passionate about supporting people with disabilities
• Reliable, flexible, and dedicated to making a positive impact
• A current Working with Children Check (WCC) or equivalent
• A valid Australian Driver License is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in disability support work is advantageous but not required
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
