About This Position

This is a part-time position based in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. As a Disability Support Worker at SACARE, you will provide individualised care to participants within home care settings. The role involves working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and promoting their independence.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Support participants in maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for participants.
• Document participant care plans and progress accurately.

Qualifications

• Completed relevant Certificate III or IV in Community Services or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience working with people with disabilities.
• A current driver’s license is required for this role.
• First aid and CPR certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
