Disability Support Worker – Warilla/Flinders

About the Role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to assist individuals with disabilities in Warilla and Flinders. The role involves supporting a 40-year-old male with a spinal cord injury in Warilla and a 49-year-old male with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries in Flinders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support
• Provide emotional and social support to ensure the individuals feel comfortable and supported
• Help with community integration and participation in social activities as needed
• Ensure safety and well-being of the individuals at all times

Skills & Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities
• Aged 18 years or older, with no upper age limit
• No specific qualifications required; however, experience in disability support is advantageous
• Female applicants are preferred for the Warilla position
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work locations
