Consultant, Modern Productivity – British Columbia

IX Solutions Ltd. is hiring a full-time Consultant, Modern Productivity to help organizations across Canada modernize the way they collaborate, communicate, and manage information using the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

About the Role

As a Consultant, Modern Productivity at IX Solutions Ltd., you will guide clients through the transformation of their collaboration and document management environments, turning business needs into practical Microsoft 365 solutions. Reporting to the Manager, Service Delivery, this role blends hands-on technical delivery with sales conversations, readiness assessments, and project scoping. The position runs 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional after-hours work or travel depending on project requirements. Founded in 2018, IX Solutions Ltd. partners with clients throughout Western Canada to help them embrace digital transformation and reach meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with client stakeholders through clear, consistent communication.
• Design and deliver productivity solutions across SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot, Purview, Entra ID, and Exchange Online.
• Lead implementations, Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, and managed services while ensuring a positive user experience.
• Build and refine workflows, approval processes, and apps using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
• Support data security work, including DLP, retention, and eDiscovery through Microsoft Purview.
• Provide technical escalation support and guidance to other IX Solutions teams.
• Create training resources and run user-adoption sessions so clients fully embrace the tools you deliver.
• Document processes, contribute to team standards, and identify ways to deliver managed services efficiently and at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consulting, IT support, or a related role centered on Microsoft productivity technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 migrations and migration tooling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and data compliance practices.
• Intermediate PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph capabilities.
• Working knowledge of SAML-based federation for cloud applications.
• 2+ years configuring, managing, and governing Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Copilot.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a client-tailored approach.
• Change management and user-training experience is an asset.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, achieved or in progress, including Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator (or equivalent experience).
