Position Summary

As a Sr. Staff Engineer - Windows OS -Client with Netskope in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, you will take responsibility for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of client software solutions that operate on Windows operating systems. These agents ensure user traffic is directed appropriately to support broad data protection measures and modern access frameworks. The client team develops software that is intuitive, efficient, and capable of high-volume processing across operating systems to deliver security controls covering enterprise needs. Candidates may be considered for various levels based on their background and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with talented engineering colleagues to create Windows OS client security endpoint agent technologies enabling thorough data security capabilities.
• Author multi-threaded, multi-platform C++ code employing up-to-date software engineering methods.
• Review requirement documents, identify suitable approaches, and build features delivering high standards in reliability, ongoing supportability, expandability, and visibility into operations.
• Engage with product management specialists to interpret and refine project needs.
• Produce and perform development-level unit testing procedures covering assigned code modules.
• Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to strengthen overall product testing processes.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience developing endpoint, network, or cloud security solution products.
• Proven strong capabilities in C++ programming.
• Expertise regarding data structures along with algorithms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols.
• Extensive understanding of Windows internals.
• Practical experience developing software for the Windows platform.
• Familiarity with cryptography techniques.
• Experience producing multi-platform code.
• Knowledge of web-oriented data formats such as JSON, XML, and MIME.
• Acquaintance with CI/CD tooling including Jenkins.
• Robust verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact openly, reliably, and consistently within teams.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is required; Master of Science in Computer Science is strongly preferred.
