Sr. Client Service Leader – U.S. Air Force

CDM Smith is hiring a Senior Client Service Leader to support our U.S. Air Force operations in Charleston, Kanawha County. This is a full-time, on-site position for an experienced leader ready to drive client satisfaction and team performance in a mission-critical government contracting environment.

About the Role

As Senior Client Service Leader, you'll be the bridge between CDM Smith and our U.S. Air Force stakeholders, ensuring seamless service delivery and building lasting partnerships. You'll own client relationships, oversee day-to-day operations, and set the standard for excellence across your team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on client management in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team delivering specialized services to U.S. Air Force clients
• Manage client communications, expectations, and satisfaction on ongoing projects and initiatives
• Develop and execute service strategies that align with client objectives and company goals
• Ensure compliance with federal contracting standards, security protocols, and Air Force requirements
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and strengthen client partnerships
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior leadership and clients
• Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement within your team

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of client service, account management, or team leadership experience
• Proven success managing complex government or defense sector clients
• Strong understanding of federal contracting regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
• Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one (plus for government work)
