Solutions Architect, CustomerLake

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data platform organization seeking a Solutions Architect to drive adoption of their customer data and marketing intelligence capabilities across EMEA. In this role, you will:

• Provide technical leadership guiding enterprise customers through customer data and marketing project implementations, from architectural design through identity resolution, audience activation, and AI agent deployment
• Collaborate with go-to-market leadership and account teams to design high-impact engagement strategies, driving CDP adoption from initial Customer 360 build-out through full platform augmentation or replacement
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor building credibility with CMOs, heads of marketing technology, data engineering leaders, and marketing analytics teams
• Enable clients at scale through workshops, proof-of-concept execution, and developing customer-facing materials that demonstrate the value of embedded, agentic CDP architecture
• Influence product roadmap by translating field insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams
• Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer-facing data environments
• Establish and refine sales qualification and POC intake processes to maximize customer success

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of customer data platform (CDP), marketing technology (MarTech), or customer data engineering expertise, with proven experience designing and delivering client-facing customer data and activation solutions
• 3+ years in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles
• Experience with design and implementation of data and AI applications for marketing and customer engagement, including identity resolution, segmentation, personalization, next-best-action, and agentic AI workflows
• Deep familiarity with CDP and martech/adtech platforms and composable-CDP architectures, including implementation, identity resolution, audience activation, and migration strategies
• Strong understanding of the customer data landscape: first-party data (web, app, CRM, POS), third-party enrichment data, identity graphs, consent and privacy signals, and martech/adtech destinations
• Experience operationalizing customer data as governed data products, including audience and segment definition, reverse-ETL and activation pipelines, and governance frameworks
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes in marketing and customer data initiatives
• Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or similar technical field
• Based in or willing to relocate to Munich, Germany
