Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential veterinary practice in Peacehaven, East Sussex, seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon for their small animal first opinion service. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You will run the branch with guidance and leadership from senior clinical staff, working sole charge while maintaining excellent clinical standards. Your responsibilities include continuing to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.

Working Pattern:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts issued 12 weeks in advance, typically running between 8:00am and 7:00pm
• No out-of-hours commitment

Our client seeks a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will bring:

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
• Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: Up to £80,000 depending on experience, plus welcome bonus up to £5,000 and relocation allowance up to £5,000.
