About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join their remote team in the United States. Our client is focused on delivering high-quality software solutions through continuous improvement of processes, quality standards, and engineering techniques.
This is a fully remote position available to candidates located anywhere in the U.S. You'll work with a collaborative engineering team that values mentorship, modern development practices, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Apply Lean principles to product development workflows and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in agile development processes including Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to maintain a modern, high-quality tech stack
- Contribute to continuous delivery pipelines, automated testing, and continuous integration systems
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members
- Build event-driven serverless architectures and modern front-end applications
- Write robust, secure, and maintainable code following best practices
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Visual Studio Code
- GitHub for version control and collaboration
- SQL and database development
- Sencha (Ext JS) framework
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- ReactJS and Redux for state management
- AWS cloud services
- XML and XSLT
- Experience with Angular framework
- Understanding of event-driven and serverless development concepts
