Are you ready to shape the future of AI-driven software development? NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Agentic Engineering in California, US to help pioneer intelligent automation across our developer ecosystem.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, Agentic Engineering, you will become a founding member of the newly formed Agentic Engineering team inside NVIDIA's Deep Learning Framework Group. This is a ground-floor, greenfield position where your architectural decisions will set the technical direction for years to come. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will design the agentic systems that act as a force multiplier for the engineers building NVIDIA's frameworks, compilers, and developer tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build agentic workflows that automate code generation, testing, and performance tuning across NVIDIA's software stack.
- Develop intelligent tooling that accelerates productivity for the teams behind NVIDIA's frameworks, compilers, and developer infrastructure.
- Establish foundational systems and engineering standards for a brand-new team and codebase.
- Collaborate closely with framework, compiler, and tooling engineers to identify high-impact automation opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven, senior-level experience in software engineering, ideally with exposure to developer tooling, compilers, or machine learning frameworks.
- Strong skills in designing and implementing automated workflows for code generation, testing, and optimization.
- The initiative to thrive in a high-autonomy, greenfield environment and drive technical influence from the ground up.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for building tools that empower other engineers.
