About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic with the Perma-Seal Tribe, you'll be the backbone of our on-site operations in Burr Ridge, ensuring every diesel-powered vehicle and piece of equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the road. This is a full-time, on-location position ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and dependable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, drivetrains, and related systems across our company fleet.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and service schedules to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and hands-on expertise.
- Document repairs, parts usage, and service history accurately.
- Uphold safety standards and quality benchmarks on every job.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician.
- Solid working knowledge of diesel engine systems, electrical components, and hydraulics.
- Comfortable using diagnostic equipment and standard mechanic tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safe, high-quality work.
- Able to work full-time, on-site in Burr Ridge, DuPage County.
