Position Summary
Few people get to build a bank from scratch. At Augustus, we are reinventing banking by combining a real national bank charter with Marble, our proprietary core banking system. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our small, elite team and work on core banking systems end-to-end. You will own big projects, drive them yourself, and deliver clean code that turns complex financial problems into solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work with engineering, product, and clients to turn complex financial problems into clean code.
- Take on big projects, driving them from system design to technical tradeoffs and decisions that matter.
- Owning projects end-to-end, delivering results in a fast-paced environment where every decision matters.
Requirements
- Experience in core banking systems development.
- Strong understanding of system design and technical tradeoffs.
- Ability to work with complex financial problems and deliver clean code solutions.
- Comfortable making big calls from day one, including system design and technical decisions.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment where ownership is key.
