About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential AI infrastructure organization that is building the next generation of scalable AI systems. Our client is actively contributing to open-source projects and developing infrastructure that powers AI deployment at scale. This Senior DevOps Engineer role begins as a contract engagement through Get A Job.ai, with strong potential to transition into a direct-hire position with equity and comprehensive benefits for high performers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement DevOps infrastructure that supports research and production AI workloads
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based environments for large-scale compute clusters
- Develop automation tooling using Python or Golang to improve deployment velocity and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
- Support infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and operational excellence across production systems
- Contribute to platform design decisions that directly impact how AI models are trained and deployed
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python or Golang
- 3+ years of production experience with Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience building automation and tooling that improves engineering productivity
- Proven ability to work independently in remote environments
- Location: EU, US, Canada, UK, Australia, or Singapore
