Position Summary
Join AIRWALLEX as a Senior Software Engineer on our Ledger and Recon Platform team. As a key member of this critical component in Airwallex's mission to provide seamless financial management solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that support our global financial platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high-quality code is delivered on time
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring a consistent user experience across various devices and Android versions
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least 3 years focused on Android development
- Demonstrated expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK
- Familiarity with modern Android development tools and frameworks such as Dagger, Retrofit, and RxJava
- Experience with RESTful APIs and server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js or Python)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for building high-quality software that meets user needs
