About the Role
At Tide, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Agentic Platform team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining highly usable and connected administrative solutions that support SMEs in their day-to-day operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of these solutions into our broader ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software components for the Agentic Platform, ensuring they meet the needs of SMEs globally.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features that enhance user experience.
- Contribute to code reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Work on performance optimization and scalability improvements for existing systems.
- Participate in the design and implementation of innovative solutions that support our mission: to help SMEs save time and money so they can focus on what matters most.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in developing enterprise-level applications.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred.
- A deep understanding of software development best practices, including version control systems (Git), testing methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
