About This Position
The Staff Software Engineer role on the Simulation Test Engineering team involves architecting, implementing, and optimizing large-scale simulation testing pipelines for AV behavior development and validation. You will drive the adoption and integration of AI-powered tools to enhance these processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable simulation testing pipelines for autonomous vehicle (AV) behavior development and validation.
- Optimize existing simulation testing frameworks to improve performance and efficiency.
- Drive the integration of AI-powered tools into the simulation testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless adoption of new technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in software development, preferably in a simulation or autonomous vehicle context.
- Demonstrated expertise in large-scale system design and implementation.
- Strong background in AI and machine learning, particularly as applied to simulation testing.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and frameworks such as Gazebo, CARLA, or similar.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure for simulation testing is a plus.
