The Opportunity

This is a senior role for an accomplished travel professional with deep expertise across East and Southern Africa's premier safari destinations. You will work with a leading tourism organisation dedicated to crafting bespoke, high-end safari experiences whilst advancing conservation across the region. This full-time position offers the chance to shape luxury travel offerings and build enduring relationships with discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and curate sophisticated safari itineraries tailored to the preferences of high-net-worth clients across East and Southern Africa
• Consult directly with clients to understand their safari aspirations and translate them into unforgettable travel experiences
• Nurture and expand relationships with luxury lodges, professional guides, and conservation partnerships throughout the region
• Lead sales and business development initiatives, leveraging deep product knowledge to drive revenue growth
• Negotiate terms with premium suppliers and ensure consistent service excellence across all partnerships
• Mentor and guide the travel planning team, setting standards for exceptional client delivery

Skills & Qualifications

• Established expertise in luxury safari travel and comprehensive knowledge of East and Southern African destinations
• Substantial background in premium travel planning, luxury tourism consulting, or related high-end travel services
• Strong understanding of African wildlife, conservation practices, and sustainable tourism principles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for building client relationships
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage complex logistics with precision
• Demonstrated sales success and experience driving commercial growth in a travel environment
• Leadership experience within travel, tourism, or luxury hospitality sectors
