The Opportunity
This role offers substantial autonomy to establish product direction, make independent prioritization decisions, and unite cross-functional teams around a shared mission. You'll bring deep domain expertise to complex business challenges while leveraging AI-first capabilities to accelerate discovery, optimize workflows, and create scalable solutions. Up to 10% travel may be required for this position.
What You'll Do
- Build and defend a long-term product vision grounded in AI-first principles, prioritizing features that accelerate market impact
- Convert customer feedback, support signals, and research data into strategic themes using AI tools to surface gaps and opportunities
- Partner with engineering, design, and business teams to streamline operations and align internal capabilities with customer requirements
- Make autonomous choices on roadmap sequencing, resource scope, and trade-offs informed by AI-powered analytics and insights
- Test product hypotheses through AI-assisted prototyping before committing engineering resources
- Manage the full development arc—from defining requirements and specifications through launch planning, quality validation, and customer onboarding
- Accelerate documentation creation using AI while maintaining editorial rigor and clarity
- Monitor development cadence and provide leadership with progress updates and release schedules
- Champion customer interests by urgently addressing requests and cultivating trust-based partnerships
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution with exacting standards for validation and product quality
- Rally organizational support by communicating product strategy and connecting initiatives to business goals
- Leverage AI-driven analytics tools for rapid hypothesis testing, pattern recognition, and data-informed strategy
Skills & Qualifications
- Several years managing sophisticated SaaS products in enterprise environments, particularly e-commerce or marketplace platforms
- Background working on AI-augmented solutions, intelligent workflows, or data-driven insight platforms
- Hands-on experience across the complete product development lifecycle: establishing success measures, tracking results, and isolating feature business value
- Track record leading interconnected product systems and unified software ecosystems
- Ability to transform customer interviews, support cases, and survey responses into actionable themes using AI tools
- Experience prototyping product workflows and concepts with generative AI to validate and de-risk ideas
- Demonstrated success in using AI to streamline product documentation while preserving accuracy and editorial quality
- Proficiency with AI-powered analytics—natural language querying, automated chart generation, anomaly surfacing—for quicker decision-making
- Proven effectiveness collaborating with vendor partners and cross-organizational stakeholders
- Ability to articulate product direction and business impact to audiences throughout the organization
- Quantitative mindset backed by hands-on experience with analytics platforms and product instrumentation
- History managing relationships with large-scale commerce customers and enterprises
- Driven by growth, adaptability, and bias toward execution
- Polished written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences
- Capability to translate complex technical systems for non-engineering stakeholders
- Competence juggling concurrent multi-initiative portfolios in fast-moving environments
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years in product management; prior roles at leading technology companies or venture-scale startups in retail technology; entrepreneurial mindset; international product leadership exposure
