Senior Pricing Manager

Amentum is seeking a Senior Pricing Manager to join its team at the Carson Mall location in Carson City. This full‑time role focuses on developing and executing pricing strategies that support the company’s engineering and technology programs.

About the Role

As a Senior Pricing Manager, you will partner with finance, contracts, program management, and business development teams to ensure pricing is competitive, compliant, and aligned with corporate objectives.

What You'll Do

• Lead the creation of pricing models for new and existing contracts, incorporating cost analysis, market trends, and risk factors.
• Develop and maintain pricing policies, procedures, and tools that meet government regulations and internal standards.
• Collaborate with capture teams to support bid and proposal efforts, providing pricing guidance that enhances win probability.
• Perform variance analysis and monitor contract performance to recommend adjustments and improve profitability.
• Prepare pricing documentation for review by senior leadership and external auditors.
• Mentor junior pricing analysts and foster continuous improvement within the pricing function.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPCM, CPSM) is a plus.
• Minimum of five years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, or financial analysis within the defense, aerospace, or government contracting sectors.
• Strong grasp of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) pricing principles and cost accounting standards.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet modeling, data visualization tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering accurate, timely pricing support that contributes to profitable contract awards.
