Amentum seeks a Law Enforcement (LE) Counter Threat Finance (CTF) Advisor to join our team in Washington, D.C. as a full-time professional dedicated to advancing financial intelligence and security solutions for law enforcement agencies.

About the Role

As a Counter Threat Finance Advisor, you will provide strategic counsel on financial threats, illicit funding networks, and countermeasures that protect national security interests. Your expertise will directly support law enforcement agencies in identifying, analyzing, and disrupting financial flows associated with threats to public safety.

What You'll Do

• Advise law enforcement leadership on counter-threat finance strategies and implementation best practices
• Conduct financial threat assessments and vulnerability analyses for law enforcement operations
• Develop frameworks and methodologies for identifying illicit financial activity and funding sources
• Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners to strengthen counter-threat finance capabilities
• Support policy development and regulatory compliance related to financial investigation and asset interdiction
• Provide training and subject matter expertise to law enforcement personnel on advanced financial analysis techniques
• Research emerging threats, tactics, and financial mechanisms used to fund illegal activities

What We're Looking For

• Proven background in law enforcement, financial investigations, or counter-threat operations
• Deep knowledge of financial intelligence, anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks, and illicit funding networks
• Experience advising government agencies or law enforcement on complex security challenges
• Strong analytical and written communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in relevant field
• Familiarity with federal law enforcement structures and interagency coordination
