About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a Senior Informaticist to join their analytics team. This fully remote role is based in the United States and offers the opportunity to transform complex healthcare and operational data into strategic insights that drive business decisions.

As a Senior Informaticist, you will serve as a consultative analytics partner to business leaders, working at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and technology. This is an individual contributor role focused on solving high-impact business problems through data-driven approaches and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytical initiatives that support strategic business priorities and operational performance
• Serve as a consultative analytics partner to business leaders, helping define problems, identify opportunities, formulate hypotheses, and develop data-driven recommendations
• Independently lead analytics engagements from intake and discovery through analysis, solution development, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of business outcomes
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and key performance drivers
• Design and develop meaningful metrics, frameworks, dashboards, and decision-support tools
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations tailored to executive, operational, and technical audiences
• Influence strategic decisions by providing insights that impact growth, profitability, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency
• Coordinate with other analytics, IT, and business areas across the organization to ensure work is completed with insights from subject matter experts

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of analytics experience OR Master's degree and 3+ years of analytics experience
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a consultative analytics partner, working directly with business stakeholders to define problems, evaluate opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations
• Experience leading projects through the full analytics lifecycle, including business intake, discovery, analysis, solution development, communication of insights, and implementation support
• Progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, informatics, or related field
• Strong proficiency with SQL, reporting and visualization tools, and analytical methodologies
• Experience communicating insights and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
• Ability to work from home with reliable internet (minimum 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload)
• Dedicated workspace to protect confidential health information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Informatics, Analytics, Business Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, payer, provider, sales, or operational data
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and continuous learning with the ability to rapidly learn new business domains and analytical approaches
• Experience using SQL, Power BI, Databricks, Python, or similar tools to support business decision-making

Important Note: This role is best suited for candidates energized by consultative analytics, business problem solving, and decision support. While strong SQL skills are required to query, analyze, and work with large datasets, the primary focus is not pipeline development, infrastructure engineering, or software development.

Pay

This position is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role eligible for bonus incentive compensation based on company and individual performance. Occasional travel to client offices for training or meetings may be required.
