We're seeking an experienced Brand & Marketing Director - Leisure in the United States to serve as brand custodian and lead marketing initiatives for a valued, growing leisure brand. This full-time position is for an accomplished executive ready to protect and evolve a distinctive brand while driving marketing that expands its reach.

The Opportunity

You'll take the helm of brand development and marketing leadership, contributing to executive strategy across brand, customer experience, and product direction. This role blends strategic brand stewardship with hands-on marketing execution. You'll spend meaningful time at our physical locations, experiencing the customer journey directly and translating these insights into bold marketing initiatives that help new audiences discover the brand. You'll guide a talented in-house marketing team and oversee execution across all marketing channels.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Define and protect brand positioning, messaging, and customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Build an always-on marketing rhythm, moving beyond seasonal campaigns to sustained audience engagement
  • Direct creative development across social media, video, photography, content, and public relations
  • Lead organic social media and earned media strategy, identifying cultural moments and partnerships that resonate with your audiences
  • Oversee paid acquisition and performance marketing strategy in partnership with internal specialists, driving commercial results
  • Expand revenue through merchandise, events, partnerships, and B2B opportunities
  • Build and develop a 12-person marketing team with strong standards for creativity and commercial impact
  • Integrate brand and customer insights into product and business decisions across functions

Who We're Looking For

  • Senior brand marketing leadership experience in consumer-focused businesses
  • Proven success with always-on marketing, campaign development, and creative content production
  • Track record leading organic social, PR, influencer partnerships, and earned media growth
  • Deep understanding of contemporary consumer behavior and cultural trends shaping modern brands
  • Solid knowledge of paid digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce optimization
  • Experience building internal teams and managing external agencies without losing control or vision
  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge constructively across functions
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication with strong creative judgment
  • Preferred: background in lifestyle or experience-driven consumer brands, multi-location operations, seasonal business models, or B2B channels
