Overview
Our talent team is representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead software development teams in Poland. This position focuses on driving timely, high-quality product delivery through Agile leadership, team coaching, and stakeholder management. You'll work across Backend, Frontend, and QA teams while managing delivery risks and optimizing processes.
Responsibilities
- Agile Leadership: Serve as a servant-leader ensuring Agile principles and Scrum practices are implemented effectively across development teams
- Team Coaching: Mentor team members to foster continuous improvement and high performance; facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Delivery Ownership: Own end-to-end delivery processes, ensuring timely execution of features aligned with approved roadmaps
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to define delivery plans, manage scope, dependencies, and risk assessments
- Progress Monitoring: Track feature delivery across sprints, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate across multiple teams
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine delivery frameworks; maintain documentation on processes and best practices
- Quality Focus: Track quality-related issues and trends, collaborating with QA Leads to drive product enhancements
- Team Development: Conduct performance reviews, 1:1s, and probation assessments; optimize team composition and workload management
- Reporting: Provide weekly feature/project progress reports, sprint reports with root cause analysis, and monthly capacity allocation reports
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project/Delivery Manager in the IT industry across multiple organizations
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams of 10+ members
- Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to navigate uncertainty
- Proficiency in Jira (Plans, eazyBI, BigPicture) and Confluence
- English proficiency at B2+ level and strong command of Russian
Nice to have:
- Product-focused company background
- Prior experience in software development
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent Agile certifications
