Ninja is hiring a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position focused on protecting organisational systems and data. About the Role

As a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer at Ninja, you will design, implement, and maintain security controls that safeguard networks, applications, and infrastructure from evolving threats. Based on site in Riyadh, you will work closely with technical teams to assess risk, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security standards. The Role demands advanced technical judgement, clear communication, and the ability to turn complex findings into practical recommendations that keep operations secure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of security architectures, policies, and monitoring strategies across systems and networks.
• Detect, analyse, and contain security incidents; coordinate response activities and produce clear post-incident reports.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and threat modelling to prioritise remediation efforts.
• Configure and optimise security tools such as SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Advise engineering and operations teams on secure design practices, access controls, and identity management.
• Maintain documentation, support internal audits, and help the organisation meet relevant cybersecurity requirements.
• Mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge that raises the overall security maturity of the team.

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Senior CyberSecurity Engineer or equivalent hands-on security engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security fundamentals, encryption, and secure system design.
• Practical experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and incident-response processes.
• Familiarity with common frameworks and standards used in enterprise cybersecurity programmes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and clear written and spoken communication.
• Relevant certifications (for example CISSP, CISM, or similar) are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work on site in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia and collaborate effectively in a full-time capacity.
