Senior Consultant – Finance Operate – UX / Product Design

About the Role

As a Senior Consultant in Finance Operations and Product Design, you are a strategic problem-solver who bridges business needs with innovative technology solutions. You will work within our Finance Transformation team, bringing deep expertise in how finance organizations can modernize their operations. Your focus will be on understanding client pain points and designing intuitive, efficient solutions that transform outdated finance processes into competitive advantages.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Chief Financial Officers and senior finance leadership to assess current finance functions and identify transformation opportunities
• Design user-centered solutions and processes that modernize finance operations, improve workflows, and enhance organizational performance
• Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, and discovery sessions to understand complex finance challenges
• Develop product and process design recommendations that balance business objectives with user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—technology, strategy, operations—to ensure seamless implementation of solutions
• Leverage Deloitte's proprietary tools, methodologies, and industry knowledge to deliver market-leading solutions

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in finance operations, management consulting, or business process design
• Proven expertise in UX/product design, business process improvement, or finance transformation projects
• Strong ability to translate complex finance requirements into clear, actionable design solutions
• Experience working with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders in consulting or corporate environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence senior leaders
• Knowledge of modern finance technology platforms, ERP systems, and finance shared services models
• Project management capabilities and track record of delivering solutions on time and within scope
