Supplied company reference material describes historical Sears “Allstate” vehicles (scooters, motorcycles, re-badged cars), not a modern employer profile. Separately, recent headlines name Allstate in insurance contexts: a driving-risk ranking story, a Broadcom licensing dispute, conference sponsorship, and an Oklahoma claims underpayment suit. See Wikipedia (vehicle brand) and linked news for sources only—do not treat the vehicle-brand blurb as the insurer’s history.

Allstate is hiring a remote Data Analytics Senior Consultant I to power smarter Claims demand and capacity planning across the United States through predictive modeling and modern business intelligence. If you turn complex data into operational forecasts that teams actually use, this full-time, fully remote role is built for you.

About the Role

As a Data Analytics Senior Consultant I at Allstate, you will own the development, upkeep, and ongoing refinement of predictive models and operational forecasts that guide planning across the Claims Workflow organization. Working remotely from anywhere in the USA, you will deliver accurate, repeatable outputs while raising the bar on process reliability through automation, leaner workflows, and clearer data visualization that makes information easier to act on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, populate, monitor, and maintain medium- to high-complexity predictive models, including scheduled reruns and historical backfills.
  • Develop and sustain Python workflows that drive operational forecasting, reporting, and scalable analytical solutions.
  • Query and reshape data with Python and SQL to construct feature datasets, and carry out validation, reconciliation, and anomaly checks.
  • Replace manual and spreadsheet-driven tasks with automation, surface efficiency gains, and apply inventive modeling approaches that improve business outcomes.
  • Convert business questions into analytical solutions and partner closely with stakeholders, product owners, and teammates.
  • Strengthen team capability through peer cross-training and collaborative knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on background developing, maintaining, or supporting predictive models.
  • Advanced Python for data analysis, feature engineering, workflow building, and model creation.
  • At least two years working with data reporting, including advanced SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions).
  • Comfort handling large or complex datasets and debugging analytical processes.
  • Experience building short- and long-term demand and capacity forecasting models is a plus.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced skill with data management, multi-source integration, and reporting/visualization tools.
  • Strong numerical reasoning, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and excellent written and verbal communication for a virtual team.

Prepare to walk through end-to-end analytics projects: problem definition, data quality, method choice, validation, and how you influenced a decision. Expect scenario questions on ambiguous metrics, stakeholder pushback, and communicating uncertainty. Be ready to discuss remote collaboration and any domain exposure you have (insurance, risk, or large-enterprise data)—without claiming stack knowledge the posting does not list.

Strong fit if you already deliver senior-consultant-level analytics: structured problem solving, clear storytelling, and comfort advising non-technical partners remotely. Thin public data on this specific posting means culture, level, and compensation must come from the employer, not third-party ratings (none provided here).
