Senior Business Developer – Marketplace

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential e-commerce organization with a global footprint across 20+ markets. We're seeking a Senior Business Developer - Marketplace to join their growing team in London, England, United Kingdom.

In this role, you'll drive partnerships with marketplace sellers and vendors, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding. You'll work with high-priority strategic accounts across international markets, creating innovative campaigns that unlock new revenue streams while contributing to products used by millions daily.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage key accounts and media partnerships with global marketplace sellers, vendors, and media agencies
• Lead the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through successful onboarding of strategic partners
• Direct execution of high-profile partner campaigns across diverse international markets
• Unlock new revenue streams through innovative campaign design and cross-vertical initiatives
• Develop insightful campaign reports and data-driven analysis to guide long-term strategic growth

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, French, and/or Chinese are a plus
• Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces, performance marketing, or affiliate marketing is advantageous
• Proven ability to build, maintain, and grow strong, long-term partnerships with key accounts and media partners globally
• Demonstrated experience leading complex contract negotiations that drive revenue and align with strategic goals
• Skilled in translating complex data into compelling narratives and actionable insights for partners and stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to pitch to high-priority partners
• Proven ability to work under pressure with proactive problem-solving capabilities
• Intercultural awareness and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
