Senior Analyst, Direct Channels, Business Line of Credit

American Express is hiring a Senior Analyst, Direct Channels for our Business Line of Credit in Northlake, DeKalb County. In this full-time role, you'll drive growth and profitability by analyzing direct channel performance, identifying market opportunities, and enabling small business customers to access flexible credit solutions that fuel their success.

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst focused on Direct Channels and Business Line of Credit, you will be instrumental in helping American Express deliver credit products effectively to business clients through direct channels. You'll combine analytical rigor with strategic thinking to shape how we acquire, serve, and retain customers in this competitive market.

What You'll Do

• Analyze performance metrics and customer data across direct channel portfolios to identify growth opportunities and risks
• Develop data-driven insights to support customer acquisition and retention strategies
• Partner with marketing and product teams to evaluate campaigns, test initiatives, and measure business impact
• Build and maintain performance dashboards and analytical reports to track key metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance and commercial services to optimize channel performance
• Recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies based on analytical findings

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in analytics, business analysis, or marketing roles
• Demonstrated expertise with data analysis, SQL, and business intelligence platforms
• Advanced Excel and data visualization proficiency
• Strong ability to synthesize complex data into clear business insights and recommendations
• Background with business credit, commercial lending, or direct-to-customer marketing channels
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline
