Senior Accountant

ALTEN Technology USA is hiring a Senior Accountant in Litchfield Park, Maricopa County, to support financial operations and accounting functions for this growing engineering and technology company.

About the Role

As Senior Accountant at ALTEN Technology USA, you'll bring financial expertise to a company serving dynamic industries including aerospace, medical devices, robotics, automotive, and clean energy technologies. In this full-time position, you'll play a key role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of operations across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and accounting records
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budget development and financial analysis
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper account coding
• Support audit and compliance initiatives
• Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development
• Coordinate with other departments on accounting matters and financial inquiries

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CPA credential preferred
