The Opportunity
The Mint Gaming Hall is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect our guests, staff, and assets while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You'll earn $16.00 per hour with weekly pay, performance bonuses up to $2,000 in your first year, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and medical coverage, fully paid company life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match plus FSA/HSA options.
What You'll Do
- Assist guests with directions and provide escort services throughout the gaming hall
- Monitor gaming floors and facilities to ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Address guest requests and concerns with professionalism and efficiency
- Work cooperatively with civil and law enforcement authorities during incidents and investigations
- Support jackpot verification and payout operations with attention to detail and accuracy
- Conduct regular patrols and identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate assistance as situations arise
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and remain responsive
- Reliable attendance and commitment to full-time employment
- Prior security or hospitality experience is beneficial
