Sales Development Representative – API MAM Supporting

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud communications technology organization in their search for a Sales Development Representative to support their API platform growth in Mexico. This is a fully remote position offering significant career advancement potential in the rapidly expanding B2B communications technology sector.

In this role, you'll serve as the critical first point of contact for potential clients, creating and qualifying new Mid-Market sales opportunities. You'll work closely with our client's sales and marketing teams to build pipeline, refine outreach strategies, and develop deep knowledge of enterprise API solutions. This position offers a clear path to advancement as the organization continues its rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting campaigns using phone, video, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to engage Mid-Market prospects (100-999 employees)
• Conduct creative research and social media monitoring to discover new leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar sales intelligence tools
• Qualify potential customers based on comprehensive understanding of API platform products and use cases
• Maintain detailed, accurate records in Salesforce CRM system
• Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for Account Managers
• Collaborate with marketing, sales leadership, and account teams to optimize outreach performance and territory coverage
• Achieve monthly targets for qualified appointments and new sales opportunities
• Develop and maintain territory plans in partnership with assigned Account Managers
• Support marketing initiatives including online campaigns and lead generation programs

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of sales development, lead generation, or sales experience in B2B software or technology environments
• Professional-level English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven cold calling expertise and ability to craft personalized outreach emails
• Self-motivated and self-organized work style with ability to execute independently
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales engagement platforms (Outreach or similar), ZoomInfo, generative AI tools, and 6sense
• Demonstrated success with Mid-Market (100-999 employee) outbound prospecting
• Current legal authorization to work in Mexico (visa sponsorship not available)

Highly valued experience:

• Background in CPaaS, telecommunications, or multi-product technology suites

• Comfort with high-volume phone and video interactions with prospects
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with numerous daily prospect touchpoints

Compensation and Benefits

This is a salaried position with commission-based compensation structured on a 70/30 split. The client offers medical insurance, group life insurance, meal cards (Pluxee), volunteer time off, employee assistance programs, and additional benefits that will be discussed during the interview process.
