About the Role
We are seeking a Safety Critical Software Engineer to join our team in developing advanced assurance and safety technologies for autonomous and AI-enabled systems. This role is based in Witney, Oxfordshire on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop safety-critical embedded software for autonomous systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to safety critical software development.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure reliability and robustness in real-world applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system architects, and quality assurance specialists.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing safety-critical software for autonomous systems.
- Familiarity with embedded systems programming languages such as C/C++/C#.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems and their application to safety-critical systems.
- Experience with safety standards like DO-178, ISO 26262, or IEC 61508 is highly desirable.
