What This Role Involves

The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients. The role involves utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decision-making in practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
• Provide direct care to adult/geriatric patients during night shifts at Mercy facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital where employed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice

What You Bring

• A valid RN license in the state of employment
• Experience working with adult/geriatric patients preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Prior experience in a regional float pool or similar role is beneficial
