About the Role
As a float pool RN, you will deliver individualized, patient-centered nursing care across facilities within the regional footprint of your home hospital. Grounded in sound theoretical and clinical concepts, you will make confident bedside decisions while caring primarily for adult and geriatric patients during night-shift hours. This part-time position is ideal for adaptable nurses who enjoy new environments, diverse care teams, and the flexibility of working where you are needed most.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess each patient's condition and develop tailored nursing care plans aligned with established standards of practice.
- Implement and coordinate skilled nursing interventions for adult and geriatric populations.
- Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and adjust the plan of care as needs evolve.
- Report to assigned facilities within the home hospital's regional footprint, supporting staffing needs across multiple locations.
- Apply evidence-based theoretical concepts as the foundation for clinical decision-making.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing.
- Clinical knowledge of adult and geriatric nursing care and recognized standards of practice.
- Flexibility and reliability to travel to and work at various facilities within the regional service area.
- Availability for part-time night-shift coverage.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and care-planning skills.
