About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential legal services organization seeking an experienced IP Paralegal / Docketer for remote, contract-based work. This role offers approximately 10+ hours per week supporting intellectual property docketing and deadline management for client law firms across the United States.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor patent and trademark prosecution dockets with exceptional accuracy
- Calculate, calendar, and track critical USPTO and international filing deadlines
- Review incoming correspondence from the USPTO, WIPO, foreign associates, and outside counsel
- Enter applicable deadlines into docketing systems and ensure timely compliance
- Support patent and trademark prosecution matters including applications, responses, renewals, and maintenance filings
- Perform regular docket reviews and proactively communicate upcoming deadlines to attorneys and legal teams
- Manage document organization and recordkeeping for electronic IP files
- Handle a high volume of deadlines and matters while maintaining precision
- Identify and escalate potential docketing issues before they become critical
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an IP Paralegal, IP Docketer, or similar intellectual property legal professional
- Strong experience with intellectual property docketing and deadline management
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate and track USPTO and international filing deadlines
- Solid understanding of USPTO procedures, filing requirements, and prosecution timelines
- Experience with electronic filing systems and intellectual property docketing software
- Proven track record managing high-volume dockets with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Self-motivated professional who can work independently and prioritize competing deadlines
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and professional workspace
