The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Highlands Respiratory Care. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $27.85 - $45.25 per hour and may include a new hire sign-on bonus of up to $8,000 for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and provide appropriate treatment plans
- Administer oxygen therapy and other respiratory care interventions as directed by physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist in the training of new staff members on respiratory care procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
Skills & Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Alabama
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with medical equipment and software used in respiratory care
