Your Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status using clinical observation and diagnostic equipment
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory care equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on patient treatment plans and modifications
• Document patient interactions, treatment outcomes, and clinical observations in electronic health records
• Perform patient education on breathing techniques, equipment use, and disease management
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide life support interventions as needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure or certification in Missouri
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
• Prior travel assignment or contract work experience preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
• Adaptability and strong communication skills essential for travel assignments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
