Titan Medical Group is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time, 13-week assignment in Kansas City, KS, with placement in the Edwardsville area of Wyandotte County.
About This Position
This is a travel assignment offering competitive weekly compensation of $1,410 to $1,610 for a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist. The position runs for 13 weeks starting July 27, 2026. As a travel RRT, you'll bring your clinical expertise to a healthcare facility where temporary respiratory therapy support is in high demand, giving you the opportunity to expand your professional network while earning strong wages in the Kansas City market.
Your Responsibilities
- Assess patient respiratory status and oxygen saturation levels using clinical judgment and diagnostic equipment
- Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory care modalities
- Manage airway maintenance and assist with intubation and extubation procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to develop and adjust patient treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and documentation
- Respond to emergencies and provide respiratory support during critical situations
Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred
- Valid CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Current state respiratory therapy license in Kansas or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
